    How long does it take on average to complete various styles of braids, weaves and twist?

    On average, Cornrows with extensions are 1 and 3 hours, depending on design and layers. Individuals with human or synthetic extensions would take between 4 and 6 hours, and is typically the same for styles like the kinky and nubian twist. Senegalese Twist may take between 6 and 8 hours.

    How Long will the braids last?

    Cornrows with extensions added should last up to 5 weeks. For Individuals braids, weaves and twist with extension, we advise that you keep it in for 8 weeks but no more than 10 weeks. Leaving braids or twist in beyond the prescribed time can lead to your hair locking and hair loss.

    What is the best way to transition from relaxed hair to natural hair?

    The transition from perm to natural hair may take between 6 and 12 months. During that time it is best that the hair shaft is stable and a minimization of the regular grooming, since regular grooming during the transitional period could lead to hair breakage. We believe that the hair shaft is best stabilized in braids or twist during the transition.

    Can I shampoo regularly if I have braids, weaves or twist with extensions my hair?

    We advise that you minimize the number of times that you shampoo while have braids, weaves or twisted extensions in the hair. There are several products on the market that will enable you to do a dry shampoo in between a regular shampoo. We suggest that you do a full shampoo with a stocking cap covering the braids or twist every 4 weeks.

    Do I need to perm my hair before getting braids?

    No you do not have to. If your hair is already perm, that’s alright. Just come.

    How do I take care of my braids?

    Do not shampoo your braids within the first 3 weeks. You can only use hair spray to keep your braids shiny. You may lightly wash your braids the 3rd week.

    How long will I keep my braids?

    Single and Individuals braids can last up to 3 months if well maintained. But Corn Rows can last up to 3 weeks if well maintained depending on individuals.

    Will my braids hurt my scalp the first days?

    Yes, they will hurt your scalp the first 3 days. But you may be used to this overtime. However, there is no guaranty for being use to the pain; especially if you have sensitive scalp. You may also acquire hair cooler spray to help you alleviate the pain. We also recommend that you talk to your physician for advice.

    Will braids help my hair grow?

    Truly, there is no guaranty that your hair will grow with braiding. But, it may be. It also depends on individuals natural hair texture.

    Why are my braids so tight?

    You may feel some tightness on your scalp after the braiding process. Having this in mind, there is a minimum strength and tightness that we use in order to maintain your braids on.
